af Jord is founded by ceramicist Louise Reimer, a graduate of The Danish Design Academy (2013), and based in Espergærde, Denmark.

The studio was born in March 2021, shaped by a desire to reconnect with the earth — and to honour the quiet, grounding moments of daily life.

​

Louise creates functional stoneware objects that carry both purpose and poetry. Her work is guided by simple forms, natural materials, and the textures of the surrounding landscape.

Many of the glazes are inspired by — or even made with — elements collected from nature.

​

Each piece is made by hand, in small batches, with great attention to detail and a commitment to craftsmanship. The result is a collection of everyday objects that invite stillness, presence, and tactile joy.
